This is a handbag made from NAGATANI's proposed designs, combining shrunk leather from Germany's "WEINHEIMER" (ESPOIR), metal fittings, and leather cord stitching.
After an order is placed, skilled craftsmen meticulously create each semi-custom bag from leather selection to cutting and sewing. Since the production process differs from ready-made bags, there are various differences, including the price.
This product allows you to enjoy the supple texture of the world's finest materials, along with the meticulous sewing techniques of experienced craftsmen.

The popular shrink leather, ESPOIR, is a durable yet soft leather with a beautiful grain that conveys its high quality the moment you touch it. Please note that as these are made-to-order products, delivery will take approximately 2 months. We will notify you of the delivery date after confirming your order. Shrink leather ESPOIR is a material carefully selected from calves raised with particular attention to their environment at the foot of the Alps. It uses calfskin, known in Europe as "Calf Skin," from calves less than 6 months old. Furthermore, the crucial "tanning" process, which determines the quality of the leather, employs a traditional method combining two types of tanning—vegetable and chrome—to create a supple and soft texture. Among the shrink leathers produced by Weinheimer, ESPOIR is renowned as the highest quality product and is deeply loved by luxury brands worldwide under different names.

To allow you to fully appreciate the beauty and texture of ESPOIR shrink leather, the interior of the bag is intentionally left unlined. (Excluding CLASSY)
The original metal fittings, specially ordered from Japanese mold craftsmen, are coated with a durable paint to ensure lasting beauty, resulting in a smooth, highly reflective surface.
The leather cord stitching, which has become an icon of NAGATANI, uses high-quality leather cords meticulously hand-stitched by artisans. While twisted cords or waxed cords are typically used for stitching, NAGATANI uses leather cords made with advanced techniques where the leather is stretched to its limits and a core is wrapped to form a cord, resulting in a more three-dimensional and lustrous appearance.
