EMMY, World of Platinum and Silver

Hello, it's getting colder and colder every day, isn't it?

It's so cold that we've even seen a little snow in Osaka recently. Of course, there's COVID-19, but please be careful not to catch a cold first and foremost. January and February are the coldest months, so I'll also do my best to stay warm.

Now, about the title of this article, "EMMY, The World of Platinum and Silver," we've decided to release limited-edition models with colors suited to the season. The first in the series is from "EMMY," which has now become NAGATANI's most popular model. It first appeared as a summer 2020 limited edition and was so well-received that it sold out in a flash. Since then, we've released several limited editions in white due to high demand.

If you're a core NAGATANI fan, you've probably noticed (though I wonder if we have that many core fans, lol) that even with the same white, the edge paint and thread colors can differ, so even if the base color is the same, they are actually completely different limited models. For those who don't pay that much attention, it might be "I don't care about that. lol" type of topic, but as creators, we actually put a lot of thought into the color schemes depending on the season.

And here's a close-up photo of the "EMMY" WHITE & GOLD. The thread is white, the edge paint is beige this time, and the hardware is gold. The image is of birch trees and a sunset in the snowy world of Hokkaido. Now, try closing your eyes and imagining it for a moment. The base color of the leather is snowy white, the birch trees are beige, and the gold is the sunset. Did this magnificent view of Hokkaido appear in your mind's eye? I'd love to show you a photo of the scenery, but I don't have one... So, please imagine it. Lol

And this is the "EMMY" WHITE & SILVER. This one evokes the image of a world where birch trees stretch across a silver-white landscape on a crisp morning, before anyone has left a footprint. It would be nice to have cute animal footprints too, they would stand out. If I had a photo like that right now, it would definitely be Instagram-worthy, lol. This silver is also incredibly beautiful, no less so than the gold.

And from the side, both look wonderful, don't they?

Hmm, what to do, I want one too. Lol

Looking at them like this, white and beige go so well together, I thought it would be good even if it wasn't a limited edition. But if we used the same color scheme for other models, it would lose the meaning of a limited edition, so it might be better to keep this color scheme exclusive to the limited edition... but that's just our (NAGATANI's) perspective, isn't it? Lol We'll consider it based on your feedback.

And now, let's take a peek inside the bag. The interior is blue, and this blue also perfectly complements the white base color, making it beautiful. It expresses the image of a silver-white night world unfolding when you open the bag. I almost want to name it Midnight Blue. Like the regular model, the interior has one zipper pocket and two open pockets, so it's just as functional.

I imagine both are so lovely that you might have trouble choosing (which is exactly what we're aiming for, lol), but when you're really struggling, having both gold and silver is an option too!
