The Appeal of the "LILY" Flap Long Wallet

What makes the genuine leather flap-type long wallet "LILY" so appealing?

Last autumn (2021), we introduced the new "LILY," a flap-type (also known as an envelope-style) long wallet, departing from NAGATANI's mainstream round-zipper wallet. Of course, I believe people have preferences—some prefer zippers, others flaps, right? But I think both styles have their own charm and individuality. That's why I often find myself buying new ones when I come across something good that suits my mood at the moment.

But enough about me. Thanks to its popularity, LILY has become quite popular since its debut, following the round-zipper SAHO and BONNY. So, we've decided to add new colors as the first new item for 2022. We're introducing colors that haven't been widely used before: ORANGE, CAMEL, and NAVY. Orange accessories are great, aren't they? They make a good accent color. Personally, it's a favorite color that I'd love to carry.

One of LILY's attractive features is its snap-button closure, which makes it easier to open than a zipper, wouldn't you say? Of course, the flap is also a good size, so there's absolutely no chance of anything falling out that's stored inside, as you'd expect. LOL. And when you open the flap, you'll find two card pockets right away, so it's super convenient to keep your two most frequently used cards there.

 And when you look inside, you'll find a zippered pocket in the middle, where most people, as shown in the picture, probably keep their coins. On either side of the zippered pocket are two gusseted pockets, where most people keep their bills and such. Of course, within the storage capacity, it's best to use it in your own preferred way, isn't it?

You can also see that the card pockets are easy to view, with six on each side (a total of 12). While this varies greatly depending on the user, I believe that with the two front card pockets and the 12 inside pockets, you won't run into a situation where you don't have enough card slots. What do you think? Is it not enough?

The interior design is essentially the same as "SAHO," excluding the front card pockets, so if you're a SAHO user, you should have no problem using this. And, like SAHO, there are a total of two free pockets on the back of the card pockets on both sides, which are very convenient for storing bills, coupons, and other items.

 Like SAHO, these free pockets are not easily noticed at first glance, so I personally always think of them as "hidden pockets" for things I don't want others to see. LOL.
